Ceremony
2 pm

If you’re coming to the ceremony please arrive at least 30 minutes early

The Ceremony will start promptly in The Keep Suite at 2pm and last about one hour. We will then have some time to take photos to capture memories from the day. This will be followed by a selected three course menu served in the The Castle Suite accompanied with speeches, conversation and drinks.

Reception
7 pm

The Reception will be in the The Castle Suite from 7pm with live entertainment, evening finger buffet, bar service offering a range of drinks and non-alcoholic refreshments. We hope as many friends and family as possible can join us on this special day.

Our Venue

Leasowe Castle Hotel

The Castle was originally built in 1593 by Ferdinand, 5th Earl of Derby, second heir to the English throne. Between 1911 and 1970, it became a convalescent home, and between 1974 and 1980 it was owned by Wirral Borough Council. In 1982 it became a hotel and a popular venue for weddings and has around 50 hotel bedrooms.

With wide open surroundings and glorious sunset views, situated moments from Wirral’s impressive coastline, we believe it is as an ideal venue for our wedding. We hope it will give a beautiful snapshot of the place we love to call home.

We love The Wirral and hope you’re able to enjoy it on our special day.

Yes of course! We will have a children’s food option on the day for the meal after the Ceremony.

This is up to you! We don’t have a list of gifts or gift registry – instead if you wish to give us something we ask for a contribution towards our new life together by your preferred method. Any questions please call or get in touch by e-mail.

Take a look at our selected menu as you’ll need to choose a meal when you RSVP for the Ceremony. If you have any special dietary requirements or requests please get in touch by phone or e-mailing hello@amritandben.co.uk.

Our chosen venue – Leasowe Castle Hotel – has around 50 rooms. A discounted room rate for guests staying overnight is available. Please contact Leasowe Castle and quote “Gaskell / Kang Wedding” when booking a room.

We ask that guests attending the wedding Ceremony arrive dressed formally. For the Reception we would like people to feel comfortable whilst still dressing to impress.
